           Cedarville University Campus Store in Cedarville, Ohio, has transformed its retail operations by adopting resero retail Technologies’ CampusCloud platform. Facing a surge in online sales that outpaced in-store purchases, the store needed a modern, efficient solution to replace their outdated system.            After a number of years struggling with systems that impeded smooth operations, the MSU Bookstore team decided to make a final system change to CampusCloud citing its ease-of-use, modern architecture, and overall experience that the resero team brings to the table.

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;

           The Campus Store at Southwestern Oregon Community College has implemented resero CampusCloud to serve the campus community in Coos Bay, Oregon. With new staff running the store, they decided the time was right to modernize and simplify their operations; by partnering with resero they have moved their operation to the cloud and offer the staff an easy-to-use web browser based interface along with a modern eCommerce solution for the campus community.

With multiple stores, a robust IA program, rental program, and traditional textbook program the store needed a flexible and responsive system that would help them succeed now and into the future.

           I am pleased to announce that Eric Browning has joined the resero Retail Technologies team as our Director of Business Development; starting officially on April 1, Eric has already been working behind the scenes to get acclimated to the team and has jumped in feet first.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
            
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

            Eric comes to us after a year-long sabbatical from the higher ed retail industry; they say once you start working in higher ed there is no escape, and Eric has proven this. Eric has almost 30 years of experience in the campus store industry starting with his work at the NEIT Bookstore in 1995 and wrapping up there in 2000 as the store manager. Many of you may know him best from his 20 years at MBS in various capacities culminating in Sales and Regional Manager positions or more recently during his two-year stint at Oracle NetSuite.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
            
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Eric has been an advocate of independent college stores throughout his career, serving on the CSNE (now CSA-NYS) board in various capacities for a number of years, and logging close to 1 million road miles calling solely upon institutional stores.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;

With a standard selection of a few print books, rental items, and course kits along with the standard swag and school supplies, the Jets Store also has a large selection of convenience items - snacks, meals, hygiene items, household needs, and even refrigerators. It’s all about meeting students where they are and helping all students be successful. Part of that commitment to student success is fulfilled through the Jackson College Hunger-Free Campus initiative which “will provide hungry students food to eat and some basic necessities. Students who self-identify can receive emergency assistance coupons with non-cash value of $10 to meet food, hygiene or household needs.” And the Jets Store is a central part of that mission.

           New York State Auxiliary Services Association conference

    &lt;/strong&gt;&#xD;

            at the beginning of January where we had the opportunity to network with some of the greatest Auxiliary Services minds in the industry. There were a lot of fantastic conversations about how CampusCloud and SmartLockers can integrate into current service models as well as lead the transition to new and exciting service models as the campus store, campus retail, and Auxiliary Services, as a whole, continue to evolve.
           &#xD;

    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;

           This quote above is akin to the situation that many stores find themselves in right now; what will you do to find your new cheese?

  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;

           The first step to finding your new cheese is to recognize that your old cheese doesn’t cut it anymore. Maybe it’s stuck in the back and refuses to move forward. Maybe it’s bound together with other old cheese that can’t be separated. Or maybe what you thought was new cheese was really just old cheese with a new wrapper. Regardless of your situation, what’s really needed is to take a step back, look around, assess the situation, and realize that what you’ve got is stinky old cheese – and not the good stuff.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
